Cailin - Her contract comes to an end at the end of this month and she hasn’t got anything lined up after that. Faithfully pray for a work opportunity, or her work contract to be extended. Also for peace and resolve in her heart; that God has her back.
Candice’s Dad - He has been forced into an early retirement and he is looking for some work which he can do on a part-time/consultancy basis. Pray for a work opportunity that he’ll be interested in, something exciting and refreshing for this next chapter of his life. Also pray for a resounding peace to fall upon him and Candy’s Mom; that the Lord will comfort them during this period. Also pray that the Lord will lead him, his wife and son to a great church to plug into. YES!
Gav’s friend, Stuart - His wife has recently left him and taken their two kids with her to live with another guy in LaDomaine. She is filing for divorce. Stuart is in real need of some support form the church right now (frequently visited) and we pray that God will surround him with solid Christian men. We also pray for Monique (his wife) that she will be convicted of her mistake and turn back to him, and that the Lord will follow through His amazing plan of restoration in their marriage.
Yolande, and her friend Zelle - that the Lord will continue to work in Yolande’s life, and will bring emotional healing within her heart. Also pray for Zelle, that God will mend her brokenness; give her the courage and strength to conquer each day victoriously.
Tim - trust that the Lord will provide him with guidance and direction, and wisdom to follow through with his decision confidently. (changing churches, or whether to come back to CityHill)
Peter - Pray that his move down to Durban, and journey up to Johannesburg this weekend will run smoothly, with the ultimate protection of our Lord over him. Also we thank Him for His overflowing provision in Peter’s life; for giving him this opportunity to move down to Durban. Thank You JESUS! You’re so cool.
Jodi and Graham’s Grandfather, John - Pray for protection over him and his family during this period of his life. We pray for rest and a peace to be laid upon him, and a willingness to fight this cancer with joy in his heart. We also pray that he draws closer to the Lord during this experience. YAY GOD!
Lara - Pray that she will enjoy her last two weeks in South Africa, and that the Lord will iron out all the stress of her VISA expiring etc. We pray that the Lord will protect her. AMEN!
JC - Pray that the Lord will provide clear discernment as to what path he should take next; with regards to moving sites (Waterfall to Hillcrest)
Kim - Pray for her stomach. That there will be a miraculous healing in 2 weeks, and to combat the pain that she feels after eating. May this be gone, in Jesus Name!
Rowan’s friend, Michael - Pray for stability and comfort, as he is struggling with his family life during this period. Pray for a total eradication of his depression, and that he will draw closer to the Lord and His grace during this time. AMEN!
Ockie - Pray for a clear sense of God’s direction in this season, with work and mimistry calling.
Jade’s sister, Tegan - Pray for her interview coming up next week. Pray for favour to be upon thise interviewing her, and the Lord will ease any anxiety and nerves that may hinder her from being herself. In Jesus Name!
Ockie’s girlfriend, Jo - Pray that she will find a tecahing job once she gets back home from overseas. Lord, You’re so good at this. Always prevails.
